Recognizing Those Making a Difference in Hollywood

While it may not always be easy to see day-to-day, there has been meaningful progress happening across the Hollywood District. Through our monthly board meetings, where we review updates on cleanup activity, public safety, coordination with partners, and overall district health, we get a clearer picture—and there is a lot of work being done behind the scenes that is making a real difference.

With that in mind, we recently sent letters of appreciation to two organizations doing impactful work in and around the district—Portland Police Bureau and Central City Concern. We’ve seen firsthand the impact of their efforts and believe it’s important to recognize those helping move the neighborhood forward.
