Hollywood Boosters Awarded $10,000 Grant for District Improvements

The Hollywood Boosters Business Association has been selected to receive a $10,000 Vibrant Districts grant from Prosper Portland, supporting flower pots, district signage and our Clean & Safe program.

Awarded through a competitive process, the grant will help us make the Hollywood District more welcoming for the people who work, shop, visit and call it home.

The award includes three areas of support:

  • $5,000 for public space enhancement: Planned improvements include flower pots to bring more color and greenery to the district.

  • $2,500 for marketing and visibility: Funding is planned for additional Clean & Safe and Hollywood Boosters signs, helping make our association and its work more visible.

  • $2,500 for staffing and operations: This funding will help support staffing for our Clean & Safe program and the ongoing work of caring for the district.

We’re now gathering bids and completing the paperwork needed to finalize the grant agreement before funds are released, with plans to put the award to work in 2027.

These investments support a shared goal: a beautiful, cared-for business district where local businesses can thrive and neighbors feel welcome.
